How We Work

A Flexible Model Built for Real-World Infrastructure

Cities and infrastructure operators adopt AquaGrid through a combination of recurring software subscriptions and targeted deployment projects. This hybrid approach delivers immediate operational value while building long-term, AI-driven intelligence across the entire catchment.

Our model reflects how infrastructure actually works–data must be collected, validated, and operationalized before predictive systems can deliver lasting impact.

The AquaGrid Model

Two Complementary Layers. One Unified System.

Urban water systems cannot be digitized through software alone. Reliable intelligence depends on how data is collected, validated, and continuously updated across the physical network. AquaGrid’s revenue model is deliberately structured around this reality.

Rather than separating “software” and “services,” AquaGrid operates as a single unified system with two tightly coupled layers: a recurring intelligence platform and targeted deployment projects that activate and strengthen that platform.

AquaGrid Platform Subscription (SaaS)

Recurring intelligence for continuous decision-making

The AquaGrid platform is a cloud-based system of record for urban water infrastructure—unifying wastewater, stormwater, surface water, and environmental data into one intelligent grid.

Included with subscription:

  • AI-driven analytics for asset condition, flood risk, and pollution detection

  • Digital twins of networks, waterways, and catchments

  • Real-time and historical data ingestion from sensors, CCTV, robotics, and third-party systems

  • Predictive models for failures, overflows, and contamination events

  • Secure dashboards, reporting, and API access

  • Continuous software upgrades and model improvements

Commercial structure:

  • Annual or multi-year subscriptions

  • Priced by catchment size, asset length, or data volume

  • Optional add-on modules (advanced AI, public health analytics, CSO prediction)

Deployment & Data Enablement (Projects)

Targeted projects that unlock long-term platform value

Deployment projects ensure AquaGrid starts with high-quality, ground-truth data—accelerating adoption and reducing operational risk.

Typical project scope includes:

  • AI-driven analytics for asset condition

  • Robotic and CCTV pipeline inspections

  • Sonar profiling and silt volume estimation

  • Surface-water, outfall, and pollution monitoring campaigns

  • Sensor deployment, calibration, and commissioning

  • One-time data ingestion, labeling, and baseline modeling

  • GIS implementations

Commercial structure:

  • Fixed-scope or milestone-based engagements

  • Can be bundled or credited toward platform subscriptions
